About

Hi, I’m Rose.

This is my personal study and learning journal - a space where I document my journey as a lifelong learner, a working professional, a wife, a mother, and someone who is still becoming.

I have always loved learning. I love understanding how things work, solving problems, building systems, and exploring ideas that challenge my mind. Over the years, my path has taken me through technical support, training, instructional design, WordPress, systems building, automation, customer experience, and now, a deeper return to Computer Science.

This journal started as a place to record my studies, but it has become more than that.

It is where I write about:

• returning to formal education later in life
• studying Computer Science through the University of London
• rebuilding my math and technical foundations
• learning about AI, machine learning, automation, and systems
• balancing work, family, health, and personal goals
• reflecting on discipline, resilience, faith, and growth
• figuring out what the next version of my life could look like

I am not someone who followed a perfectly straight path. Life happened. Work happened. Motherhood happened. Health challenges happened. There were seasons when I had to pause dreams, adjust plans, and focus only on what was necessary.

But I never stopped being curious.

I never stopped wanting to grow.

Now, I am in a season of rebuilding - not starting over from nothing, but returning with more experience, more clarity, and a deeper reason for why I want to keep going.

Part of this journey is my return to the University of London BSc Computer Science programme, where I am working toward completing the Performance-Based Admission route and eventually progressing into the full degree. Another part is my long-term interest in AI, machine learning, automation, and practical technology systems.

But this journal is not only about grades, modules, or career plans.

It is also about the personal side of learning: the fear of being late, the courage to return, the discipline to keep showing up, and the hope that the future can still be built with intention.

There are moments when I look back and wish I had done some things earlier. But I am learning that life does not only move in straight lines. Some dreams take longer. Some paths pause before they continue. Some versions of ourselves are built slowly, through both success and survival.

This is my space to document that process.

One lesson at a time.
One reflection at a time.
One brave comeback at a time.
